Yay! Picket fence Studios Instagram reached the 20k followers and to celebrate they´re doing a Giveaway with an Instagram Hop. You can start the hop in the PFS post here or in mine, which I´ll post at the end.
Let´s talk about my card for the hop. I loved making this card and had so much fun! As you may know, I really love slimline cards, and I think it´s a very interesting size to work with; sometimes you have to think out of the box to use some stamp sets or dies to make them fit in the slimline format.
I used a lot of new products from Picket Fence Studios, like the People are my favorite, Mummy stamp set with its coordinating die. The sentiment is from that stamp set. For the background I made some inkblending with Distress oxide inks (I leave the list at the end), and for the bottom part, I used the Slimline Welcome to the Graveyard Blending Stencil. From that stencil I chose some ghosts too and I made them with white pigment ink from Hero Arts. The moon is made with a stencil which is one of my favorites items from the last release, and its called Mini Haunted Moon Blending Stencil. For the bats over the moon, I masked the Bat Crazy Stencil and chose three different ones. For the stenciling, PFS has this amazing tools, the Paper Pouncers, that make the ink go through the stencil very easy. To the left of the card, you can see the new Slimline Brambles Die colored with the Paper pouncers too.
