Hello! Today I´m sharing a slimline Christmas card made with some new products from Picket Fence Studios from the last release. The highlight of this card is that it´s has non traditional colors for Christmas. Yes, we can find blue and pinks, but whwn we think about Christmas wethink of red and green and gold.
¡Hola! Hoy paso por aquí a mostrarles una tarjeta slimline hecha con algunos nuevos productos de Picket Fence Studios. Para esta tarjeta elegí colores no tradicionales como el azul y el rosado en sus tonos más vibrantes.
For the background I used the new Paper Splatter Watercolor in Blue Hydrangea color. I add some splatters with the same color and with the Liquid White Snowflake. I stamped in some places with the new Christmas wishes 6×6 stamp with white pigment ink. I use the Unicorn color from Hero Arts. The big poinsettia is from a set called Seasonal Christmas Flowers and it´s gorgeous with a lot of different sizes of flowers. I colored it with Karin Markers to give it a watercolor look. The sentiment is the new Another Joyeux Noel stamp set and I stamped with embossing ink and some silver embossing powder as the flower. This set has a coordinating die but I didn´t use it because I wanted the flower to be in the first place. To finish it I used some sequins from the A Classic Christmas Sequin mix.
Para el fondo utilicé un pincel chato con el nuevo color de Paper Splatter Watercolor Blue Hydrangea. Añadí pequeñas gotas con el color sin diluir y además utilicé otro color: Liquid White Snowflake. Para darle un toque un poco más mixmediero, estampé en algunos lugares el sello de fondos Christmas wishes con tinta de pigmento blanca. Yo usé la de Hero Arts que se llama Unicorn. La flor es de un set de sellos del año anterior llamado Seasonal Christmas Flowers y lo sellé con tinta para embossing y polvo de embossing plateado. La pinté con marcadores Karin para darle un aspecto acuarelado como el fondo. El sentimiento es un nuevo sello Another Joyeux Noel que lo sellé con el polvo de embossing plateado. para terminar agregué unas lentejuelas de uno de los mixes que Picket Fence Studios tiene llamado A Classic Christmas Sequin mix.
